Ringing in the New Year always brings along fresh starts and new beginnings of all sorts. Our resolutions—made at least with good intentions, if not much motivation—beckon our best selves to come forth; and for Southern women, our hair is no exception. "Curly girls want something other than long, curly hair. They want a style." Plus, she says, its easy to maintain and grows out well.
